France, Germany, Italy, Austria and Liechtenstein: the countries that surround us are unique and tick differently - culturally, scenically and politically. The problems, however, are similar: the euro and refugee crises, as well as the UK's exit from the EU, will continue to occupy our neighbors in the future. At the same time, domestic power struggles, negotiations and decisions are making governance more difficult. Unstable party systems and the rise of populist parties are dividing nations. It is no easy task to assert yourself as a politician and maintain an overview.
